DAWNELLE DAVIS - UKISC, OREGON
Our family just completed hosting our first ever UK soccer coach. The coach's name that stayed with us a week is Sam Nimmo. He is an extraordinary young man. He was polite, professional, caring, FUN, great with our kids, personable, thankful, and overall wonderful! He fit in terrifically with our family and we all now consider him a friend. I was able to observe him at the camp as well, and though he did not teach my daughter's session, he was great with the younger kids and engaged them all in great soccer fun.
UK International is fortunate to have someone like Sam Nimmo working for them! We would welcome him into our home anytime! We also had the opportunity to host Porter (I am not sure of his last name) from Eugene Oregon in our home for one night and he is also an exceptional young man. Wonderful with the kids, extremely polite, respectful, outgoing, and so much fun. He is a wonderful addition to your program.
I would like to share with you a story of how hard Sam worked while at the Corvallis camp. One night after working hard at camp all day and playing with the kids here at home, Sam ventured downstairs to go to bed. Knowing that he had evaluations to complete, he showered and headed into his room to get them ready for the next day. He was so tired from the full day he fell asleep with a pen in his hand and made a black mark on the pillow. Needless to say he woke up and completed all the evaluations in preparation for the following day. The next morning during breakfast he apologized and offered to buy us a new pillowcase (this is how polite he is) and we quickly said no need, and that we will always remember the great memories we had with Sam and fondly "treasure" the pillowcase!

My boys loved the camp and coaches. Hosting Andy was a joy for the entire family. Let me know if you need a host family in August when the guys return to Oahu for coach training. We would be happy to help out again.

CHERYL WILCOX, SALT LAKE, UT,
Here's a photograph from our Camp at Sunset, Utah back in June. The photo is of me, Steve Clarke, Dean Rimmer, ben howe, Gary Towers and Adam Henry alongside the host families children at the side of the pitch on a tour of Rio Tinto (Real Salt Lake's ground!) Thought you might like it for the website? The program was a great experience.

Just wanted to let you know I love your coaches. They were wonderful, and left the ohana cleaned, with the beds even made. We so enjoyed them.
Hanna gave my grandson her swimming googles and he is now swimming under water! Such a joy for me! I have been trying for years to have him put his head under water.
Just wanted to let you know it was a wonderful time for us.
ELLY, EAST KAUAI, HI
We had a wonderful time with Andy. He was kind to the kids, respectful and neat. We would love to host again next year. Please keep us in mind!! Also, could you please pass on the word that there are many of us who would have our kids attend a camp here at the northshore. We have great soccer fields in Hanalei.
I just wanted to write a quick note to pass along what I feel was an exceptional experience hosting a UK Soccer Coach.
Last week Thomas Stock coached in West Seattle and stayed in our home. It was a real pleasure. Thomas was a great guest and took the time to get to know our family and explore West Seattle. Our kids also enjoyed his stay - Thomas was patient and generous with his time as my young boys clamored for his attention. Overall, his positive attitude and willingness to take initiative and pitch in to help or simply be part of a household was very much appreciated and, frankly, served as a fine role model. Based on this experience we plan to host more coaches in the future.
STEPHANIE McVICAR, UTAH
Our son, Seamus McVicar, just completed a week long camp in AYSO Region 126. I am writing to thank you for such an incredible experience. With this I mean not just the camp, itself, but for the opportunity to host and know Chris Crampton.
Chris is an incredible soccer coach. He was assigned to the youngest group who were certainly not easy to keep engaged for three hours, particularly in our heat and unpredictable weather. Chris was completely amazing with the children. He was responsive to their young needs, while also providing excellent teaching and warm encouragement.
Also, Chris is just an all-around incredible person. In a short few days, he really became a part of our family. He shared all his dinners with us and made it a point to spend as much time with us as he could. As far as being a houseguest, well, let's just say, he is an example I hold up to my boys. He was so tidy, and sooo appreciative of everything. It was such a treat to have him stay with us.
With the winning combination of his soccer and interpersonal skills, Chris Crampton is truly an asset to your program. Thank you for a wonderful program!
